A Fresh Start for A Moment To Breathe Weekly Newsletter
As we move into August, I'm embracing the lightness and increasing warmth this month as winter dwindles and Spring 🌱 bounds towards us- who's ready for some of that Spring Sunshine?? 🙋♀️☀️.
For the past 6 months or so, my focus has been primarily on establishing the Blossoming Beyond podcast- something that I’m still so very excited about and proud of 🎙️
Whilst I was getting this organised and established, I had to move away from my weekly newsletter, and can I just say- I missed it! I missed sharing weekly, missed the feedback and connection with my community which led me to. drumroll, please. 🥁........ in the spirit of staying connected without overwhelming your inbox, I'm switching back to a weekly message—shorter, sweeter, and packed with value. Expect a dose of inspiration, updates on what's coming, and of course, a recap of all the juicy content you don’t want to miss.
I’ll be sharing my FB live, my podcast episode for the week, and of course all of the exclusive announcements of new offers- and can I just say- hold on to your hats ‘cos I’ve got some ripper new freebies in the works right now!
(hint, hint- some juicy limited-time Shimmer bonuses, a super valuable downloadable resource... and MORE!)
This week on my FB live, we looked at the age-old adage- l ‘laughter is the best medicine’ You can watch it here-
Laughter Is the Best Medicine: How Humour Can Boost Your Health and Happiness
Laughter has been recognized by philosophers like Aristotle and scientists such as Sigmund Freud and Norman Cousins as a powerful tool for emotional and physical well-being. It acts as a natural remedy for stress, pain, and conflict, fostering emotional connections and enhancing mental function. Biologically, laughter triggers the release of endorphins, reduces stress hormones, improves immune function, and enhances blood flow, promoting overall health and happiness.
To incorporate more laughter into your daily life, try watching funny shows, sharing jokes, joining a laughter yoga class, spending time with humorous people, and finding humour in everyday situations. Following funny social media accounts and reading humorous books or comics can also help. By making laughter a regular part of your routine, you can boost your mood, strengthen relationships, and enjoy numerous physical, mental, and emotional benefits.
