Manuka

Leptospermum scoparium

Recognised by the Maori people for its invigorating properties, Manuka has been used for centuries in New Zealand. Manuka essential oil is derived from the flowers, leaves and stems of the Manuka tree. Manuka oil has a potent spicy and herbaceous scent; which helps promote feelings of relaxation, ground and centre energies for meditation and also give a refreshing aroma in the home or office.

For healthy skin, add one to two drops to your cleanser or toner to see improved complexion. For medication and relaxation, apply two to three drops to a diffuser. For a refreshing scent to rooms and wardrobes, add a few drops into a spray bottle and spray in the air. Avoid close contact with clothing/ materials.

Directions for Use

Diffusion: Use three to four drops in the diffuser of your choice.

Topical use: Apply one to two drops to desired area. Dilute with a carrier oil to minimise any skin sensitivity. See additional precautions below.

Cautions

Keep out of reach of children. Possible skin sensitivity. Avoid contact with eyes, inner ears, and sensitive areas. If you are pregnant, nursing, or under a doctor’s care, consult your physician.
